Our Movement's Mission
Welcome to the home of the Normal Values Movement. Here we aspire to Work Hard, Be Kind, and Take Responsibility.
Our Strategy:
First, we unite around the narrative that all human dignity comes from the Normal Values of working hard, being kind, and taking responsibility.
We place ourselves in this narrative by sharing our stories with others about how we learned these values.
By sharing with one another, we remind ourselves of what is possible and build a movement of through these shared Normal Values.
This is how we build power.
As more people align to the Normal Values Movement, we can begin to organize to support one another, pass common sense legislation, and run candidates who embody the Normal Values.
Our Tenets

The leaders of this movement will be the ones who can build and maintain community.

We are not an opposition movement. We are creators working to build a more perfect union.

Change starts with us. We will only ask others things that we are willing to do ourselves.

We will not spend anytime or effort trying to persuade others that they are wrong.

True power comes from simply describing where you are, how you came to be there, and what you need.

Freedom comes from discipline, not privilege. We embrace boundaries and accountability because it is the best reality check of our own integrity.

We do however reject cancel culture and perfectionism.

It doesn't matter if you make mistakes. What matters is that you own them and grow from them, and whenever possible, right the wrongs.
